Cathedral View Town House is situated in the centre of the historic cathedral city of Durham with panoramic views of the Cathedral, city and surrounding countryside.
The house is Georgian, Grade 2 listed, in a conservation area and the accommodation consists of four double and two twin rooms, which are all en-suite.
The house was purchased in 1999 when it was in multi-occupancy by University students and, after extensive alterations and improvements, opened for business in October 2000. We cater for the discerning traveller by providing comfortable and comprehensively appointed bedrooms, together with an extensive breakfast menu, using only quality ingredients.
Our guests are mainly business visitors, students' relatives and tourists.
The cathedral, castle, shops, restaurants and Gala theatre are within a 10 minute walk. The riverside is closeby with pathways around the peninsular and through Pelaw Woods to Durham University's 'Graham Sports Centre' at Maiden Castle.
